Once upon a time, there was a website called Woot. Woot was a website with a novel approach to selling stuff. Each day, one item — the woot — would be offered at a low price. It would become available at midnight and continue until it sold out or 11:59pm, whichever came first. Selling mostly computer gear and electronic gadgets, it quickly became a hit with tech-savvy web surfers.
Now, there is a Woot for parents: One Baby Goodie. Following the same concept, One Baby Goodie offers a single baby product each day at a low price, starting at 1am Eastern. Customers can purchase up to three of each deal and shipping is $4.99 whether you buy one or three. On Fridays, they offer a pre-announced item which is available until Monday or until it sells out — as the site explains, “basically we bust our butt all week long and don’t want to work on the weekend.” There is also a discussion forum where customers can discuss the goodies up for grabs, including posting comparative prices.
The site looks fun and it looks like they have some good products. If you’ve got a little one on hand, you might want to check out what they have on hand.
